Dear Everyone,
Welcome to my blog! My name is Kyra Landen and I am a senior
at Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been going to Princeton
since pre-school. I got held back in 2nd grade because I started school too
early, (Age 3) so I technically have been going to school for fifteen
years! It sounds and looks like a lot
because I'm eighteen, well I'm seventeen now but I'll be eighteen on September
30th, one month from now.
Throughout those fifteen years I've managed to work hard and
kept my grades up which is why I'm in honors classes and have a GPA of a 3.9. I
play soccer for Princeton and perform music as well. I played soccer my 8th
grade year in Middle School because I my 7th grade year I did cheerleading. I
also played soccer my sophomore year to my senior year in High School. The
first two years I played on JV and Varsity my senior year (now), which I worked
hard for.
Outside of school I play soccer, basketball and softball.
I've played softball for two years once at Evendale and the other at
Sharonville. For soccer I only played for Evendale ever since I was little and
for basketball for 2 years but will be three years because I will be playing
again this winter. For two years, from 5th to 6th grade I was in cheerleading
competitions. It was really fun and I miss everyone that was in it.For music, at school, I've played the violin for seven years since 6th grade. During Middle School I was supposed to be in concert orchestra but decided not to, but I can't remember why. When I got to the High School I played in concert orchestra for three years and in my junior years I played first chair my whole year which is a big honor and special to me. For my senior year I have successfully made it to symphonic orchestra! I've worked so hard to make it into that and I'm very proud of myself.
I am very proud of all my achievements and success because
throughout the years I've received many awards such as: the merit award,
academic award, honor roll awards, soccer awards and music awards. As you can
see I have achieve very well and worked super hard for them. I believe I am a
successful person and I hope you believe I am too.
That is very good that you have a 3.9 gpa, I hope I can strive to get that. It's also interesting that you played so many sports in your life and that you play the violin.
ReplyDeleteImpressive! I think that you should be proud on what you did so far! Good Job!
ReplyDeleteWe are orchestra sisters :))
ReplyDeleteHi Cat! Your academics are very impressive indeed! Never knew you were that many sports! Pat yourself on the back.
ReplyDeleteThis is good and your GPA is great !
ReplyDeleteSo what focus will this blog be on super achiever?
ReplyDeleteThat is something great, to have different talents.
ReplyDeleteResearch says that students that are high achievers tend to be involved in a lot of activities. That seems to describe you! Why do you think that is? Is there a point when a student might be too busy to maintain high grades? How do you think you've been able to find the right balance?
